Skyline Festival Brings Techno And House Music Together In Los Angeles

In the year After its debut at Skylight Row in Los Angeles in February 2022, Insomniac Events' two-day house and techno festival is making waves on the dance festival circuit.

This year, the festival will move to a new home at Los Angeles' Exposition Park from Sunday, February 25 to Sunday, February 26. The event was organized by Insomnic techno label Factory 93 and house music colleagues Day Trip. It featured the best artists from both genres. February 25 will feature appearances from Dom Dolla, Medusa, Turtle & Fury, Peggy Gow, Michael Beebe, Anotre and more, while February includes Diplo, Joshua, Charlotte De Witt, Joseph Capritti and Stella Bossi. 26:00

Several performances were spread over two days, including Ellen Allien B2B Sarah Landry, J. Worra B2B Miane, Shiba San B2B Solardo and Skream B2B Dennis Ferrer.

After last year's inaugural event with over 7,000 fans, Insomniac took all fan feedback to heart, including patrons asking for more space to dance and enjoy the event. The new digs at the fairgrounds offer a lot more space and bring the event closer to town.

"We're always looking for places to hold downtown based on the Skyline theme, and we came across Exhibition Park," Insomniac's head of talent and festivals Megan DeSenes said in a recent phone interview. "We went there with the team and fell in love with the place. Having trees and grass makes it comfortable for everyone. The place is bigger and the standard will be better this year. So we thought it was the perfect solution."
