HONOR has announced the release date for its next flagship smartphone. The company has announced that it will unveil its next-generation flagship called the Magic 5 at an event in China on November 23 at 14:30 UTC+8 (1:30 ET) . At the moment, no other details such as images, price or specifications of the smartphone have been released.

While there's no official word on what the Magic 5 (or how HONOR will eventually call it) will bring to the table, the reputable digital chat station has revealed that it will be one of the first Qualcomm-based phones. 2 upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen. Qualcomm is holding its annual summit from November 15 to 17, where it is expected to announce its next flagship processor called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

In addition to the fast internals, the flagship smartphone will reportedly feature a large 6.8-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It will (probably) work with Android 13-based HONOR Magic UI 7.0 custom software. The smartphone series is expected to support up to a 5000mAh battery and up to 100W wired charging.

Finally, the tipster believes that HONOR's next flagship will feature a 50-megapixel main camera sensor with the company's custom AI-ISP.
