Chinese smartphone maker Oppo will launch the Reno 9 series in China on November 24, 2022. Although the names of the Reno 9 series phones are yet to be confirmed, the phones are said to have model numbers PHM110, PGX110. and PGW110.
Oppo Reno 9 Pro specifications (leaked)
Recently, one of the three model numbers, called Oppo Reno 9 Pro, appeared on the TENAA certification platform. The listing provides important details about the model, including the screen size, the processor it runs on, and other specifications.
The Oppo Reno 9 Pro may sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 10-bit color support, according to a report by Gizmochina. The report adds that the phone will have a curved edge, which we have seen on many phones before. Additionally, the display supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and will include a fingerprint scanner.
Oppo Reno 9 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 8100-Max octa-core processor clocked at 2.85 GHz. Oppo will have 12/16 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of memory with the processor. The phone is said to have a 50MP primary camera, a Sony IMX890 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the back. Lastly, the phone runs ColorOS 13 based on the latest Android 13.
An option may have a color change
Since none of the specifications mentioned in this article have been verified by the company, readers should take them with a grain of salt. Apart from the specifications, the official renders of the phone show that it will come in three colors: black, gold and gradient gold.
We've seen cool Oppo back panel designs in the past where the panel changes color in the sun or glows in different shades from different angles. From the looks of it, the Oppo 9 Pro may also have at least one color variant that features multiple colors.
