'M3GAN' Star Allison Williams Makes Surprise Cameo In 'SNL' Parody Of The Hit Technothriller

With M3GAN dominating the box office for the past few weeks, Saturday Night Live is thrilled to have The Killer Doll as Aubrey Plaza's first host. The sketch comedy show is based on the recent news that Universal Pictures is developing a TV series (aptly titled M3GAN 2.0 , slated for an early 2025 release) and that the main character is a gay icon.

Allison Williams makes a surprise cameo as her character in the film tries to warn everyone about the danger caused by her killer robot friend. However, instead of impressing, the Girls and Get Out alums are invited to the party, along with the original Dance Machine (played by Chloe Fineman) and a new improved model (Plaza).

Now in theaters worldwide, the James Wan and Jason Blue-directed M3GAN is expected to finish its third weekend with $9.8 million in domestic ticket sales, bringing its North American total to over $73 million . . The film crossed the $100 million mark worldwide.
