Galaxy without Ultra Box
The annual Galaxy Unpacked event took place this week, and three major products were announced... the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus (believed to be a pair), and the Galaxy Book. Smartphones occupy us here. Forbes' Patrick Moorhead attended the launch and hung out with him
"Samsung says the Galaxy S23 Ultra offers the most advanced Samsung Galaxy camera system with better 'night photography', improving photos and videos taken at night. Every year, Samsung improves its ability to photograph at night using pixel binning technology Pixel binning uses fewer megapixels but combines more pixels on a high megapixel sensor to create images that capture more light for better night shots.

The Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus are also available. The two phones are close enough that the best way to go head-to-head with the S23 Ultra is in an old comparison article. Sareena Dayaram reports... it's all about the S Pen.
“The Galaxy S23 Ultra's Note-like new features set it apart from the rest of the S23 series and other high-end phones from competitors like Apple and Xiaomi. This is the second time a Galaxy phone has included an S Ultra. A pen case is also included inside the phone, there is also a place to store it, just like Samsung Note series S Pen lovers who love the Galaxy S21 Ultra. will have to pay separately for the stylus and find a special bag to store it in.”

Keep the S23 as safe as possible
One of the Unpacked news that's sure to make a big splash in the smartphone industry (or so many hope) is the update mode. Samsung says the S2e phones will receive four Android OS updates and five years of security updates. Please add.
“Support for the Galaxy S23 series does not end in 2026. The flagship trio should receive security patches within five years of launch, meaning Samsung will support these phones until at least 2028. Granted, they won't get any major updates after that. getting Android 17, most likely in late 2026/early 2027, but security patch support will continue for some time after that.

Get ready to bend over
We've got a look at Oppo's upcoming foldable phones, most notably the Find N2. With Mobile World Congress coming up at the end of the month, many manufacturers are expected to release new phones. So I doubt we'll have to wait for this leak to be confirmed;
“Find N2 Flip features a flip-style design and offers impressive specs, sleek design and a large flip display. All this makes the foldable device the best competitor of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series. The promotional materials highlight a number of key aspects, many of which are highlights of the device, whose key features include an impressive camera module and 44W fast charging.”

OnePlus has unveiled yet another new phone
Ahead of its big launch on Monday, February 7, OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 11R. Perhaps aimed at the Indian market, the 11R tends to favor the OnePlus 10T's performance over the OnePlus 10 Pro's imaging capabilities;
The OnePlus 11R has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the same chip used in the OnePlus 10T and a step down from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the OnePlus 11's vapor space, which appears to be the same , what the OnePlus 10T and more. . 64% larger than the OnePlus 10 Pro.”

Waiting for the 13th to arrive
Xiaomi's new '13' phones, namely the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, are awaiting confirmation ahead of the expected MWC launch. If the model follows the pattern of previous years, we're looking at a budget phone with the latest SnapDragon technology and a variety of storage and storage options.
"...Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro will go on sale from March 8. Furthermore, the leaker claims that Xiaomi will launch a pre-order period, although they didn't say when it will start. If the Xiaomi MWC 2023 teaser is anything to go by, the pre-order period for the Xiaomi 13 series may only last a week."

And finally...
Chinese manufacturer Huawei, which plans to massively expand its presence in the United States in the future, added itself to the list of American companies in 2019, limiting the ability of American companies to sell to Huawei. Jenny Leonard and Ian King reported this week that the Biden administration would refuse to allow more apps and allow existing licenses to expire, effectively blocking all sales;
"Intel and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. supply Huawei with processors that it uses in its Mate laptops, while Qualcomm sells Huawei processors and modems that are key components of its lightweight smartphone line."
