A techno background comes with this sample pack, with heavy drums (loops and beats) and two sets of bass arpeggios.

A series of cycles began with soft synths using internal and external arpeggiators, as well as post-synth modulation, delay, filtering, saturation and compression effects. Another set of nodes was created using a Novation Bass Station (rack mount) monosynth processed and compressed with a Clark-Teknik DN27 (inductor based) graphic EQ and a DBX166XL.

These bass loops are treated as percussive and tonal elements and can also be attacked with various forms of distortion, loop modulation, pitch shifting and polyrhythmic delay.

All beats are created using software synthesizers (Arturia ARP2600, MiniMoog, DX7, CZ and SEM) and processed with your choice of compression/EQ/filter plugins. Loops of up to four floors often have some beat-to-beat variation due to multi-level oscillator characteristics, envelope parameters, and drift characteristics similar to soft synths.

What do you need to know?

This sample collection offers a variety of loops and beats in seven folders with tempo signatures.

All samples are provided as WAV files so they can be imported directly into your favorite DAW or sampler. Since they are free, you can use the samples in your music as you wish, please do not redistribute them.
