A new leak suggests that a new Garmin watch with a bigger case than we've seen from the company is coming soon.
The latest FCC filing mentions a new smartwatch called the "A04600," a moniker that appears in the Singaporean government agency's database.
Details are a little sketchy at this stage, but hidden in the app are details that may have something to do with the size of the watch's case. And if that's correct, the "A04600" device appears to have a massive 57mm diameter case.
Of course, that's a lot bigger than what we see from Garmin - even the Fenix 7X and Fenix 6X only have a 51mm case - and too big for most wrists.
However, this mysterious giant is probably a completely different line of Phoenix. The best guess is that it's a larger version of the 45mm Garmin Instinct 2 Solar, probably the Instinct 2X Solar, especially since it's been a year since its release.
However, as we know from years of experience, the measurements given in FCC documents are not always particularly reliable.
We still think the new device could be around 50mm larger given the specs on display, but 57mm also seems a bit more achievable.
The FCC pop-up shows an official statement and the release date is imminent, so expect to see all the details in the coming months.
