Grammy-winning electronic music duo Bob Muse will debut at the Vh1 Supersonic Music Festival in India. The artists explain why techno music never goes out of style, saying "people love to party".
Bob Moses is a Canadian electronic duo. The New York-based group consisted of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance. Their cover of RAC's "Tearing Me Up" won a Grammy Award for Best Non-Classical Mixed Recording.
Crowds flocked here on Friday nights to sing thousands of their tunes. Music comes in waves, techno or electronic music is popular with everyone.
When asked about the reason behind the genre's growing popularity, Jimmy said in an interview with IANS, “I think people should explore this underground culture and then there will be love around it. It's unusual, but the club culture is very interesting and you can stay up all night and meet friends.
Tom and Jimmy then added: "People like to have fun."
They also know Bollywood.
“The old stuff (from the 70s and 80s) has this extreme tempo sound that's distorted, but the record sounds fantastic. I don't know much about modern Bollywood music but it sounds like ganj techno but it's an old classic. a friend New York, and it's great. He has a Bollywood ensemble and came to play for us.
In fact, it was "inspired" by one of the tracks.
"We were inspired by one thing we heard and used in one of our songs."
Talking about their performance in India, Tom said: “It was a great crowd, very energetic, very enthusiastic and very welcoming. They were very excited. We feed on the energy of people. It was wonderful."
He added, “This is our first time playing India and we will be playing two more. Tomorrow we will go to Delhi and next day to Goa. We will then go home and be back later this year.
Jimmy added, "We need more time here in India!"
