Slowthai Shares Music Video For ‘Yum

Following the release of Slothie's third studio album, UGLY , via Method Records/Interscope Records on Friday, the UK force of nature has shared a video for album opener "YUM". Not for the faint of heart, the visual side of Crowns and Owls accentuates the haunting panic attack and fears of the song.

The highlights of the album are "Yum", a loud intro by UGLY , and the closing track by Slowthai and producer Dan Carey, with additional production by Zach Nahoum created especially for the album. The video captures everything you'd expect from Sloti's quirky mind while recording the track.

The masterpiece of industrial technology proclaims: "More cocaine, more weed, more achievements, more travel." Gultai stopped smoking weed and drinking heavily, but the pace does not decrease. "Yum" I say people want me to do but it doesn't matter to me. I'm ready to put it all behind me, but it keeps pulling me back - more, more, more, never enough."

To celebrate the release of the album and play six live gigs in local pubs and small venues across the UK, Slothie set up an ugly makeshift shop at London's Truman Brewery over the weekend.

In partnership with Rough Trade, Slothai is welcoming fans into the store all Saturday, signing autographs of UGLY copies and printing exclusive t-shirts. The exhibition features archival merchandise as well as items from music videos and artworks such as Nothing Great About Britain magazine stock and Boris Johnson's severed head, which he pulled from his bag during his performance at the Mercury Music Awards.

Following their Mercury Music Prize-nominated debut album Nothing Great About Britain and self-focused sophomore album TYRON , UGLY once again tell the story of Britain's most exciting musical talent.
